๐Ÿ† Top 10 in Singapore. Trusted by parents. Driven by kindness. ๐Ÿ’™

We are proud to share that One World International School (OWIS) Singapore has been recognised as a winner in the 2026 Edarabia Parentsโ€™ Choice Awards, ranking among the Top 10 schools out of 115 institutions reviewed across the region.

This recognition reflects the trust of our families, the dedication of our educators, and the enthusiasm of our students who make such a special place to learn and grow.

While we are honoured by this recognition, we see it as a celebration of the people behind itโ€”our parents, students, teachers, and staff. They are the heart of OWIS and this recognition is a reflection of the vibrant school community that makes OWIS what it is.

Thank you for being part of our journey ๐Ÿ’™

At OWIS Newton, the students lead the school assemblies!๐Ÿซก๐Ÿซก๐Ÿซก

On 3 June, the PYP Grade 3 students put on an energetic and interactive production of a classic children's tale, Three Little Pigs ๐Ÿท๐Ÿท๐Ÿท, for their schoolmates and teachers during their morning assembly.

As the Big Bad Wolf ๐Ÿบ [or rather, the student playing him] huffed and puffed and blew the houses down to the good-natured cheers of the audience, these junior thespians brought into the story a twist of classic OWIS kindness - they invited the wolf in to be with them!

While the assembly was a joy to watch, it was heartwarming to see the students internalise and showcase their understanding of a key OWIS goal - to develop students who not just think critically but also with careful curiosity and empathy.

A wonderful demonstration of how perspectives and stories can change simply by blending analysis with kindness - an OWIS specialty!

OWIS NEWTON'S SPORTING DAY OUT!๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธ๐ŸŒฟ๐ŸŒž

Today, the students, staff, and parents of OWIS Newton headed down to bright, sunny, and hilly Fort Canning for an energetic and official Sports Day!

With numerous track-and-field events to claim victory over, the students took part in a burlap-sack race, a three-legged race, a wheelbarrow race [where the kids themselves were the wheelbarrow!], and more!

This day out gave our wonderful students a chance to display their competitive spirt and sportmanship, while also bonding with their schoolmates, families, and educational guides - a hot day well spent indeed!

One World International School wishes everyone a belated Happy Vesak Day!

Alongside the well-placed public holiday signifying the start of June 2026, we would also like this event to be a reminder that peace, kindness, and wisdom are valuable traits to emulate as we traverse our own life journeys!

OWIS Newton's future dancing prodigies! ๐Ÿ•บ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐ŸŽŠ

Indoor PE classes have certainly gotten an upgrade - with the PYP Grade 1 students at Newton campus enjoying an energetic breakdancing tutorial lesson as part of their Physical Education curriculum!

At One World International School, inquiry-led learning extends beyond traditional classwork - providing platforms for critical thinking to form is the foundation for our educational approach. Presenting the art of dance as a physical activity and a performing art during this breakdancing class is one of the many natural ways that this is done!
