Our July Catholic Toastmasters Club meeting was a truly memorable evening as we officially welcomed our new Executive Committee through an installation ceremony conducted by our 𝗔𝗿𝗲𝗮 𝗡𝟭 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿, 𝗟𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘂 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗵𝘆.

We were especially honoured to have the 𝑫𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒊𝒄𝒕 80 𝑻𝒓𝒊𝒐 grace this special occasion:

A special highlight of the evening was the 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘆, led by 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 George Chew and 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐭𝐡 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 Zuhriyyah, warmly welcoming our newest members into the Toastmasters family.

The celebration continued as 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐭 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 Aaron Ting KH presented awards to our deserving achievers:

🌟 𝗔𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗷𝗼𝘆𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗺𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗧𝘂𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆!

We had a wonderful evening gathered in the comfortable venue generously provided by Aventis Graduate School. Our heartfelt appreciation to them for housing our meeting in their school compound.

We were also delighted to welcome 𝐊𝐞𝐥𝐯𝐢𝐧 𝐋𝐞𝐨𝐧𝐠, who inspired us with his contest speech. Congratulations to him for emerging as the 2nd Runner-Up in the International Speech Contest Finals held over the weekend — a remarkable achievement!

A big thank you as well to our supportive leaders, Division N Toastmasters D80 Director-Elect, 𝐀𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐞 and our ever-encouraging Area N1 Director, 𝐕𝐥𝐚𝐝 𝐓𝐚𝐩𝐢𝐚, for gracing the meeting with your presence and support.

Thank God for our purposeful evening of learning, encouragement, and fellowship!

We were deeply enriched by an engaging workshop, “𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞: 𝐎𝐰𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐨𝐨𝐦 𝐖𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐒𝐚𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐝,” by Leadership and Change Expert 𝗔𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗡𝗴, reminding us that true impact begins even before we speak.

A heartfelt welcome to our overseas guest, 𝑫𝑻𝑴 𝑩𝒂𝒍𝒂𝒛𝒔 𝒇𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝑯𝒖𝒏𝒈𝒂𝒓𝒚 - your presence brought a beautiful spirit of global connection and fellowship to our meeting.

We are also grateful to the many Toastmasters from fellow clubs who joined us. Your support, energy, and encouragement made the session even more meaningful. 💖

Special thanks to our Spiritual Director, Sister Elizabeth, for her sharing that nourished our hearts and reminded us to anchor our journey in faith and hope. 🙏
