I have travelled to many places, yet there is something about Nepal that keeps calling me back.

Beyond the Himalayas and Mount Everest lies a land rich in wisdom, devotion, and living traditions. It is the birthplace of the Buddha, where prayer flags dance in the wind, pilgrims walk ancient paths, the resonant tones of handmade Himalayan singing bowls accompany moments of reflection, and sacred teachings continue to be passed from one generation to the next.

A land of both pilgrimage and adventure, its sacred valleys, mountain trails, and breathtaking landscapes have drawn seekers and travellers for centuries.

The second Soulshine camp day is inspired by Mizu no Kokoro - mind like water.

Children explore emotional flexibility and calm strength through movement, guided imagery, water-themed play, art, sound, and reflection.

It is a beautiful way of helping children feel that emotions can move, rather than stay stuck.

Many of us move through life carrying inherited patterns of stress, protection, and survival. While these patterns may have once served us, they can also shape how we relate to ourselves, others, and the world around us.

A Pilgrimage creates a different environment for learning. Through walking, reflection, cultural immersion, and meaningful conversation, we gain the opportunity to observe our habitual ways of being and reconnect with a deeper sense of awareness.

The journey is not about becoming someone else. It is about returning to ourselves with greater understanding, wisdom, and choice in how we live, lead, and serve.

Children explore movement and floor work at their own comfort level, with storytelling woven through the session before moving into sketching and creative art.
It is a gentle way of stretching both body and mind.
