Assalaammu'alaikum.

Reminder: The first ten days of Zulhijjah are very sacred. The Prophet (p.b.u.h) said, “No good deeds done on other days are superior to those done on these first ten days of Zulhijjah.” (Bukhari)

It is Sunnah to fast on the first nine days of Zulhijjah. The Prophet (p.b.u.h) has said that fasting on the 9th day, the day of Arafah, absolves the sins for two years: the previous year and the coming year. (As reported by Muslim and Sunan Ibn Majah)

Other than Fasting, other recommended good deeds we can do are giving to charity or Sadaqah, doing lots of Sunnah prayers, Dzikrullah and Doas, reciting the Quran, and helping others.

May Allah s.w.t accept all our good deeds. Aameen.
