I couldn't help myself but to get it for own collection. To invest in a tool, there are 2 reasons that I really took into consideration:

1) It grows with the child.
( admit that raising a kid is expensive)
2) Can be use for both outdoors and indoors.

Tested and explored by the 2 year old little man at home. Besides the 'dumping and filling' activity, he'll picked a random pebble and request the mom to describe.
_
The smooth, rubbery yet solid pebbles balance on top of each other so perfectly.
_
An open ended material that enhance the imagination and creativity. The pack comes with a set of task cards too!

Let us know if this should be in your purchase list 😉 DM / WA +6596924222 Mama A for more details.

📝Do not be afraid to say no

A phase where he'll communicate his likes and dislikes, and acting more independently. Thats why I'll hear things like 'No' more than ever before.

Lesson: Clearly express what you can/cannot.
_ 📝Dance in every occasion There is tons of research on dance’s benefits on our mental and physical health.

Lesson: Just dance.
_
📝Make new friends
If relationships are one of the most influential factors for happiness, we can learn a thing or two from the masters: children.

Lesson: Meet new people. Do not be afraid to show your affection.
_
📝The small things are the big things

He'll spend more time exploring with random objects rather than play invitations by his mom.

Lesson: Do not expect the extraordinary moments to experience joy. Enjoy the small things. As you look back in your life, you will see that they were the big things.
_ 📝Fall and pick yourself up

Mistakes or failures do not exist in a toddler’s life. Everything is an experiment.
Lesson: There is no failure. Just learning.

We don't often attribute meaning to how children play or even what they decide to play with. They seem to always have their preference for the things that they do

The takeaways of the workshop for our parents:

You do not have to rush out and buy any special materials to embrace loose parts play📝
_
Learn to let go of the control in play and all you have to do is BE PRESENT & LISTEN.📝

Gifting the children the sense of ownership in p l a y💫. .
💡What to do? How to do? Who to do it with? How long to do it then when there is an adult who owns these materials?
