Curriculum Meeting - teachers meet up to share teaching and learning practices & improvise on it.
Story bags - a way to tell stories to keep children engaged and focused. What a better way than to involve each child in our class to enhance their literacy skills! Teachers spent time bringing varied objects to create their stories and made it come alive with creativity!

Looking back on my internship, I’m really thankful that I had the opportunity to learn from Teacher Ashley and Ms Ana. They supported me in different ways and helped me become more comfortable and confident in the classroom.
Teacher Ashley was always approachable and made it easy for me to ask questions or seek help whenever I was unsure. Ms Ana also shared her experiences and gave me useful advice that I could apply to my teaching. Their feedback helped me see what I could improve on and encouraged me to keep trying.
I’m grateful for all the guidance, encouragement and little moments throughout my internship. Thank you both for being part of this journey and making my experience a memorable one! - Lim Pei Xuan Sharmaine (TP)

My internship journey has been a meaningful learning experience filled with both challenges and memorable moments. Throughout this journey, I have learnt many different skills through the experiences that were provided for me, such as opening and closing duties, where I got to interact with different children across all levels and learnt about the importance of safety as well. I am especially grateful to my host teacher, Teacher Lia, as she made me feel comfortable enough to ask her any questions. She would also not hesitate to help me whenever I had any queries when planning and conducting a lesson. She would also give me suggestions on what else I could do to improve my lessons. She would also share with me more about the children in the class, which helped me to gain a better understanding of each child. She has taught me a lot during my time here, and it has certainly helped me to improve myself.
As for my mentors, Ms Ana and Miya Laoshi, they have provided me with a lot of help, such as providing articles about classroom management and why parental involvement is important. They would also give me insights into their experiences as teachers and share many useful tips on classroom management. Whenever I was done conducting a lesson, they would always provide me with insightful feedback on ways that I could improve my teaching and better manage the class. I would like to thank all of them for their patience and guidance throughout my internship. Their support has helped me improve along the way. I would like to sincerely thank them for being part of my journey and for giving me the opportunity to learn and grow during this internship. - Year 3 Intern Tng Zi Xuan, Chloe
