NPS International School (NPSI), one of Singapore’s top school cricket teams, is excited to announce a new collaboration with CricKingdom – Rohit Sharma’s Cricket Academy!

We are bringing a dedicated Cricket Academy to our Primary School Campus at 11 Hillside Drive, with training sessions taking place on Saturday mornings.

This exciting initiative is part of NPSI’s continued commitment to providing our young athletes with opportunities to develop their skills, build confidence and take their game to the next level. 🌟

A tradition of excellence. A global stage. And a little bit of alpaca magic. 🦙

Every year, NPSI students take on the World Scholar’s Cup.

Every year, they come back with awards.

But the real win? The confidence to think boldly, speak clearly, collaborate across cultures and embrace learning far beyond the classroom.

Behind every achievement is a team of teachers and mentors who challenge, guide and champion our students—building a tradition of intellectual curiosity, ambition and global excellence.

This week, that journey was recognised by the person who knows WSC best: Daniel Berdichevsky, Founder and “Alpaca-in-Chief” of the World Scholar’s Cup.🦙

From the Global Round to the Tournament of Champions at Yale, Daniel celebrated the talent, enthusiasm and commitment of our scholars—and the NPSI community behind them.

What happens when curiosity meets real-world problems? 💡

In the latest edition of our “Hear from Industry Experts” series, we hear from Ms Priyanka Aggarwal, Senior Partner at Boston Consulting Group, who was impressed by the ambition, curiosity and depth of understanding behind our students’ projects.

From identifying real challenges to developing solutions in just two weeks, our students demonstrated more than technical ability. They understood their ideas, could confidently respond to questions and, importantly, were already thinking about how they could take their solutions further.

As AI, physical AI and robotics continue to evolve, Ms Aggarwal sees tremendous opportunities to tackle complex challenges across areas such as agriculture, logistics and healthcare — while recognising the importance of keeping these technologies safe, governable and explainable.

Her advice for the next generation?

Stay curious. Keep learning. Remain optimistic. And keep progressing. 🌏

At NPSI, we encourage students to do more than learn about emerging technologies. We give them opportunities to experiment, question, build and explore how their ideas can make a meaningful difference in the world.

Our NPSI chess players brought their strategy, determination and competitive spirit to the 67th National Inter-School Team Chess Championship, securing an impressive 5 medals in the Non-MOE / International Schools Category!

🥈 Girls U12 Team 1 – 2nd Place Captain: Nilanjana Chatterjee

Building on their success at the 2026 Inter-School Individual Chess Championship, our young chess players continued to demonstrate their skill and teamwork on the board. A special mention to our Boys U14 Team for securing 2nd Place for the second consecutive year, competing against highly rated FIDE players! 👏

Beyond the medals, every move, challenge and hard-fought round was a lesson in resilience, critical thinking and perseverance.

What will matter most for students in a future shaped by AI? 🤖💡

In the latest edition of our “Hear from Industry Experts” series, we hear from Mr Ng Tian Chong, CEO of Singtel Singapore, following his interactions with our students and their work at NPSI.

What stood out to him? Their inquisitiveness, open-mindedness and willingness to take on complex challenges — from AI to climate and community issues.

As AI and robotics continue to transform how we learn, work and communicate, Mr Ng highlights an important distinction: technology can generate words and reports, but it cannot replace human intellect, empathy, judgement or the ability to build trust.

His advice to our students is simple: stay inquisitive, stay open-minded and keep learning.

At NPSI, we believe preparing students for the future means giving them opportunities to explore emerging technologies while developing the human skills to use them thoughtfully and purposefully.

Because the future isn’t just about keeping up with technology. It’s about knowing what to do with it.

It’s one thing for us to talk about how we prepare our students for the future.

It’s another when the people working at the forefront of business, entrepreneurship and innovation tell us what they see.

Welcome to “Hear from Industry Experts” — a new series where we invite leaders who work alongside our students to share their perspectives on learning at NPSI, our students’ achievements, and the skills they see developing beyond the classroom.

🎙️ First up: Mr Prantik Mazumdar — entrepreneur, venture investor and Digital Transformation Catalyst.

As a judge at our EBSummit and a partner in TYE (The Young Entrepreneurs) Programme, Prantik has seen our students pitch ideas, defend their thinking, respond to tough questions and turn concepts into action.

For Prantik, however, entrepreneurship isn’t just about becoming an entrepreneur.

It’s about developing the life skills and mindset to solve problems, seek feedback, communicate ideas and engage with the world beyond the classroom.

That is exactly why opportunities like these matter.

At NPSI, our students don’t just learn about the real world.
