๐ธ๐ฌ Happy 61st Birthday, Singapore! ๐ธ๐ฌ
This year, we amped up our celebrations through the creativity of our Sec 3 art students. Their artworks, featuring some of our most beloved national symbols, were turned into a special set of temporary tattoos to celebrate our nationโs birthday! Art that we can wear AND celebrate withโwhatโs not to love? โค๏ธ๐ค

๐๐ธ๐ฌ Happy 61st National Day, Singapore! ๐ธ๐ฌ๐
From our CCE lesson reflecting on the Pledge, to our National Day Observance Ceremony featuring the Marching Contingent, National Anthem and Pledge Taking, Mr Azizโs Pledge60 sharing, and a heartfelt concert by our Band, Drama, and Choir - every moment today was beautifully pieced together to celebrate our nation! We are so proud of all our performers and participants who were the hands and hearts who made this happen, and showed us what it truly means to aspire, strive and dare โ as one united people! ๐ช

Our annual Festival of Arts, Movement and Entrepreneurship (F.A.M.E.) took over Bedok View's school grounds this morning! Our students showed their entrepreneurial spirit through the creative booths in the classrooms, pumped up their adrenaline through our Anchorfit physical fitness challenges, and enjoyed the food and carnivalesque atmosphere together with their school mates! Our Sec 4 cohort also brought their APSN Katong buddies around our FAME booths and immersed in the programmes while forging friendships with them. The morning ended with our inaugural "Fate to Fame" concert organised by our student leaders and supported by the Infocomm club. We celebrated BV's talents in music, drama and dance, and ended the day with an even greater appreciation for the arts, physical movement, entrepreneurship, and an awareness of how we can contribute to our own school and community in our own ways. Thank you to our Alumni and Parents Support Group for also contributing to this meaningful event today!

Our students traded the classroom for the courtroom at the SG Courts โ๐ ๐๐๐ฒ ๐ข๐ง ๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ญโ seminar on 3 July 2026. They not only role-played a real court case and chatted with judges, but also caught the attention of Mothership! ๐คโฃ

**Making a Difference through Empathy and Service ๐**
Can you imagine struggling with everyday tasks such as walking, writing, or maintaining your balance?
Our Service Learning Club (SLC) students recently supported the World Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Day awareness event at Punggol Library, organised by the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Singapore (MSSS).
Prior to the event, students learnt about Multiple Sclerosis and the challenges faced by persons living with the condition. On the event day, they engaged members of the public through interactive activities, helping to raise awareness of the often invisible challenges experienced by those living with MS.
Beyond volunteering, this meaningful experience deepened our students' understanding of inclusion, compassion, and the importance of building a caring community. We saw how our Service Learning Club students connected with the community, took initiative, and represented the school with pride.
We are proud of our students for exemplifying the values of service and respect, demonstrating that even small actions can make a meaningful difference.

Our Sec 4 Higher Mother Tongue Malay students took part in the Bahas 4PM debate on 25 April 2025, where Halimah from Sec 4/3 was recognised as one of the Best Speakers. It was an exhilarating and enriching experience that strengthened their confidence, sharpened their critical thinking skills, and deepened their passion for the Malay language. We are proud of their resilience, teamwork, and dedication throughout the competition. Good job, students!

Who would have known sitting down could be so competitive๐ค? Sec 4 Activity Week had us diving into sit-down volleyball, navigating goalball with teamwork, and playing our best during interclass games. Just when we thought we were done, the financial literacy workshop showed us that budgeting might actually be the toughest challenge of all! This fun-filled MTA week proves that learning does not always have to happen in the classroom! โฃ
