Yesterday, our Primary 4 to 6 students commemorated Drug Victims Remembrance Day through a meaningful assembly programme and a series of student-centred activities.
Students learnt about the importance of saying “No to drugs”, the serious health consequences of drug abuse, and how drug addiction affects not only the abuser, but also the people around them.
As part of the programme, students also watched an anti-drug promotional music video collaboratively created by our Primary 4 and Primary 5 students.
This served as a lead-up activity to the assembly talk:
Our Primary 4 students composed and performed a rap during Music lessons to spread the anti-drug message creatively.
Our Primary 5 students designed impactful digital anti-drug posters during Art lessons.
During PE lessons, students participated in a warm-up exercise routine choreographed to the music video, reinforcing the message through movement and engagement.
During recess, students further demonstrated their commitment by penning anti-drug pledges during FTGP lessons and placing them on the school’s Anti-Drug Montage wall.
These pledges reflected their collective stand against drugs and their commitment to making healthy and responsible choices.
Through this series of activities, we hope to deepen our students’ understanding of the harmful impact of drugs and strengthen their resolve to lead healthy, drug-free lives. Together, let us continue to build a caring and resilient school community that stands united against drugs.

Our P6 TGStars had a meaningful and enriching learning experience at Gardens by the Bay on 6 and 13 May. During the learning journey, they explored how plants adapt to different environments, gained a deeper understanding of environmental conservation, and learned about the effects of climate change and habitat loss. Through this authentic learning experience, our TGStars developed a greater appreciation for sustainability and the collective responsibility we share in caring for our environment.

Our TGStars participated in our school-wide evacuation drill to the External Holding Area at Teck Ghee Community Club last week.
Students and staff moved calmly, safely and orderly as we practised our emergency preparedness procedures together as one school community. Our Parent Volunteers served as traffic marshals and helped to keep our students safe along the route.
Through exercises like these, we continue to build our students’ awareness, resilience and readiness, while creating a safe environment for all.

From culture to cuisine, our P4 TGStars had an enriching time exploring Vietnam through an engaging TIE immersion experience!
Through a series of interactive activities, students gained a deeper appreciation of Vietnamese traditions and everyday life. They explored the different spices commonly used in Vietnamese cuisine, learnt simple Vietnamese phrases, and experienced the joy of hands-on cultural learning.
One of the highlights of the programme was painting their own Non La hats — the iconic Vietnamese conical hats that reflect the country’s rich heritage and identity. Students also had fun making their very own fresh spring rolls, learning more about Vietnamese food culture while enjoying the experience with their friends.
This meaningful immersion experience enabled our TGStars to broaden their perspectives, deepen their cultural understanding, and explore the region through engaging cultural activities and shared experiences, while creating lasting memories together.
