A man who has ever been one of the chess grandmasters in the world undisputedly. At 13 age, his triumph was dubbed as Game of the Century. What's surprising dude? He learnt chess basic moves just from his sister Joan. When Joan lost interest in chess, he was only one against to play with him. Everything about chess was flowing in his brain everytime.
He dropped out of high school and completely devoted 10_14hrs to learn chess. He even learnt Russian language to read magazines and chess books cause chess was overwhelmed by USSR(Soviet Union) players at that time.
He learnt the basics of Russian alone, not with classes.
Bobby became the first American defending the world champion Boris Spassky in 1973. The way he played was like a bomb in history cause nobody had ever seen.
However our Bobby wasn't the kind of social butterfly. He had psychotic aliments, fear, a life long history of conflicts and controversy.
His mental diagonis was Paranoia.
Although he got the world champion title(his dream from childhood), he turned down the millions of dollars in endorsements. He forfeited his title and disappeared from public view.
The more interesting thing is that he died as a fugitive of USA.
Changed from world star to fugitive like a flash.
That's why we say life is carousel. It goes up and down. All we can do is just staying on guys!
