🌟 Hands-On Science at Uppsala International School! 🌟

This week, our CS3 students explored energy changes with an exciting experiment! Using a candle, oil, thermometer, tripod stand, stirring rod, glass beaker, and a timer, they observed how heat from the candle transferred to the oil, causing temperature changes.

Students measured the temperature variations, discussed thermal energy transformations, and deepened their understanding of energy principles—all through hands-on learning! 🔥🧪

🇸🇪 Inspiring Beginnings: Swedish Lesson Marks the Start of a Bright Academic Year at UIS! 🇸🇪

Our first Swedish lesson of the year has set the stage for an inspiring journey ahead. With the guidance of our qualified and passionate Swedish teacher, students explored the language through fun, interactive learning — showing creativity, confidence, and a strong eagerness to learn.

But that’s not all — our Swedish classrooms across grades have been buzzing with creativity and joy:

🎨 Grades 1 & 2 – Students colored, imagined, and shared stories about “Who lives in the house?”. Grade 2 also enjoyed “Take a look in my backpack!”, a fun way to introduce themselves.

🖋️ Grade 3 – Wrote and shared their most memorable summer experiences.

🎲 IGCSE Students – Played “Two Truths and a Lie” about their summer vacations, filling the room with laughter and curiosity.
