MDR is a council of Ph.D. students from the Medical Faculty at Uppsala University. MDR works to represent the interests of Ph.D.

MDR's primary task is to deal with issues relating to the postgraduate education and work-related economic and social rights. The medical PhD student council, MDR, consists of PhD student’s representatives from all departments within the medical faculty, together with a ‘presidium’ with special duties. MDR is a subsidiary of Doktorandnämnden (The doctoral board), see https://dn.uppsalastudentkar.
