Opportunities for personal development, career orientation, academic learning & networking since 2005! Volunteer for a free congress registration!

Since 2005 we have been offering congress organisers the opportunity to get highly motivated staff to work for them for free in exchange for a free congress registration. In this way we have fundraised over 100.000 EUR of free congress registrations in exchange for delivering high quality volunteers since 2005. We recruit our volunteers from active student networks and student organisations that a

re known to have an interest in the topic of the congress. Occasionally we expand our concept such as with world Parkinson's congress, where we also worked with People with Parkinson's disease and their carers who wanted to volunteer. Here the event organiser took care of the volunteer recruitment for the largest part and we took care of scheduling, planning and onsite management. On other occasions we organised a full low budget social programme next to the convention for prices that no event manager ever could negotiate! Sizes of our volunteer interventions depend on strength of our local support network.

We have been quiet for a while, but we intend to explore possibilities for spring 2019. Anyone interested in an event on Neurology in Lisbon, Portugal?

1) you work as a volunteer for a congress in exchange for free registration.
2) you take care of travels and accomodation yourself
3) for international volunteers: proof of booking travels = confirmation
4) no visum invitations will be issued (if you need them, sorry, we can´t help).
