Former EV doctoral student Karl Ekeman has been awarded the 2026 Prize for Outstanding Scholarly Work by the Royal Swedish Academy of Letters, History and Antiquities (Vitterhetsakademin) for his dissertation In Want of a Sovereign: Metapolitics and the Populist Formation of the Alt-Right.
