A huge congratulations to Curtis Waldie and Dan Farrall on achieving the rank of Katulong G**o, 3rd Degree Black Belt, in Kali Sikaran during Kali in Bali 2026.

Your dedication, perseverance, and commitment to the art have been evident throughout your journey. This promotion is a well-deserved recognition of the countless hours of training, learning, and growth you have invested over the years.

An equally special congratulations goes to Shannon Simpson on being promoted to Natapos G**o, 5th Degree Black Belt on the same day. Reaching this level represents not only technical excellence, but also years of leadership, mentorship, and contribution to the Kali Sikaran family.

The assessments were conducted by Senior Grandmaster Andy Elliott (10th Degree Black Belt in Kali 3 Dimensional & Kombatan Presas Style) and Tuan Adrien Rodriguez (Kali X Silat & Eskrima DeCuerdas), with the support of Lahong G**o Heikki Martikainen of the Kali Sikaran Alliance. Their combined experience, knowledge, and commitment to preserving and advancing the Filipino Martial Arts made this recognition especially meaningful.

Moments like these remind us that rank is not simply a measure of skill, but a reflection of character, commitment, and the willingness to continue learning. We are proud to celebrate this milestone with all three of you and look forward to seeing where your martial arts journey takes you next.
