Your riding position doesn’t just need to look good — it needs to be strong enough to hold, mobile enough to follow, and reactive enough to adjust. 🏇🔥
And so much of that starts at the hips.
Hip strength + mobility + control, working together with your core and posterior chain, help you:
→ stay centered without gripping
→ follow the horse while maintaining stability
→ control your leg independently
→ react when the movement underneath you changes
These 3 exercises might look a little odd 😅 — but they are incredibly efficient for building exactly that combination.
And you don’t have to start with the hardest version! The little modification shows you where to start, then progress when you can control it properly.
Strong positions are trained — not just corrected in the saddle.
