Spring is starting slow in Stockholm and snow is melting in slow motion. Kevin Käll has sneaked to Barcelona to train to get ready for the season. He is starting the season great and riding in front of a full class of hungry photographers. Images soon out on Mästerfoto workshops page.

Day 2 with great conditions. We started at the old liftstation and worked with foregrounds, light and composition. Tua and Viggo, our skimodels put a lot of effort into their side and got some great shots. We headed up the mountain and found some good spots. But after a few good ones we decided to go for lunch due to very cold conditions and cold feet.

Epic conditions in Riksgränsen and we are going Heliskiing at sunset. Its great to meet up with Anders Bergwall and Arctic guides for his expertise this evening. Skiing i better and mountains more promising than we ever could expect. Some turns in sunset was the end of an outstanding day.

Perfect conditions at Haglöfs Arctic weekend in Riksgränsen with fresh powpow and sunshine. The workshop starts at 0830 and all participants are smiling with anticipation. A short theory session and then we head up the mountain were its still sunshine, fresh powder and NO wind at all. Tua and Viggo, our great skimodels are eager to get started and we find a great spot straight away. Viggo charging and get buried in snow!

I did many winter seasons in St:anton, Austria and remember the great playground this area offered to offpiste skiing and touring. After 12 years i wanted to go back to see if it really was that good. I persuaded journalist Anders Wingqvist to come with me and show him the great Arlberg resorts. We met up with skier Fredrik Andersson and Hanna Lättström on a 4 days smorgasboard. When going back i was still impressed about the skiing that you could do in Arlberg. Impressive.

Train is leaving at 22.12… Missed a phone call… next one i was busy… then i get a text from Glenn at 20.47, if i got some earplugs for the nighttrain?. 22.31 I reply that i will ask my wife… Glenn a few seconds later, are you not on the train?. I reply in a very relaxed way, that it is tomorrow we are leaving. At 22.35 i realize i missed the train and i was not even close to catch it. I would have been 24 hours late. Then a long night followed trying to get a connection to Riksgränsen and Haglöfs Arctic weekend were i will be giving two photoworkshops and packing all the gear.
