বিদেশি শিক্ষার্থীদের ভিসার নিয়ম পরিবর্তন করলো অস্ট্রেলিয়া

অস্ট্রেলিয়ার বাইরে থেকে পড়তে যাওয়া শিক্ষার্থীদের জন্য নতুন করে ভিসা পুনর্নির্ধারণসহ আন্তর্জাতিক শিক্ষার্থী ভিসা ব্যবস্থায় পরিবর্তনের ঘোষণা দিয়েছে দেশটির সরকার।

বুধবার (২২ জুলাই) ঢাকার অস্ট্রেলিয়ান হাইকমিশন জানিয়েছে, এর ফলে অস্ট্রেলিয়া তাদের সীমানা পুনরায় উন্মুক্ত করলে, যাদের ভিসা আছে তারা সহজে দেশটিতে ভ্রমণ করতে পারবেন।

অস্ট্রেলিয়ান হাইকমিশন বলছে, এ পরিবর্তনের ফলে মহামারি কোভিড-১৯ এর কারণে মূল ভিসার মেয়াদের মধ্যে পড়াশোনা শেষ করতে না পারা আন্তর্জাতিক শিক্ষার্থীরা নিজ খরচায় শিক্ষার্থী ভিসার জন্য আবারও আবেদন করতে পারবেন।
