We are pround to annonce that the exhibition catalogue With Compliments, Carl Fredrik Reuterswärd and the special edition of the catalogue, commissioned by the art gallery Belenius/Nordenhake in connection with the exhibition on Carl Fredrik Reuterswärd this summer, received third place in Resumé magazine's Reklamallsvenskan competition, Design category, last week.

Garbergs vinner en jordskredsseger i den senaste omgången av Månadens design med NK:s jubileums­em­ballage. Burgarmönster föll också juryn i smaken och DDB Stockholm och McDonald's kom tvåa med "Big Mac shop". Trea kom Henrik Nygren Design för deras hemlighetsfulla inbjudan för Belenius/Nordenhake.

The booklet for the exhibition catalogue "With Compliments, Carl Fredrik Reuterswärd”, commissioned by art gallery Belenius/Nordenhake, was printed last week. This will be the folder. We have also produced 25 numbered prints that has been approved by the artist and that comes in a box together with the exhibition catalogue. The exhibition opens July 2nd. Do not miss.

We are proud that Kajen 4, that is located at Liljeholmskajen, designed by Wingårdh Architects and with JM as developer, recently has received the prize as this year's building in Stockholm. For this project HND have designed a 313 meter long plinth in concrete with black ballast.

Yesterday, IKEA presented the upcoming collection Viktigt by Ingegerd Råman during Democratic Design Day in Älmhult. Next year, there will be a wonderful series of products as well as a book on Ingegerd for sale worldwide. The book is written by Bo Madestrand. Photography by Dawid, Magnus Mårding and Patrik Lindell.

Twenty-two products with work by the illustrator, designer and artist Olle Eksell (1918–2007), that we have designed and produced in collaboration with Olle’s wife Ruthel Eksell, is now sold at IKEA worldwide. The book ”Olle Eksell – Of Course!”, that is published in seven languages by IKEA in connection with the sales of these products, is also for sale. Texts by David Castenfors and Marcus Engman, Design Manager IKEA of Sweden and photography by Sten Didrik Belander, Bruno Ehrs, Lennart Durehed, the Eksell family et al.

We are honored that the book ”Grafisk design: Henrik Nygren” received the 2014 Swedish Book Award last week. The justification: ”Impressive presentation of a work in design services. Functional design with fine details such as the crease in the back that really facilitates reading. That the book is set in brown cardboard is congenial for Nygren and makes the book ready for the archive!”. The publisher: Orosdi-Back.
