Everything is energy. The energy we give inside the company to our employees flows outward to our clients. Negativity and dissatisfaction spread through the chain just as much as inspiration and care do.

Your internal client - your employee is the source of this energy. They shape the experience of your external client and, ultimately, your business results. That’s why negativity inside the team must never be ignored.

If it comes from the atmosphere, change the atmosphere. If it comes from a chronically negative person, sometimes you must say goodbye. Radical measures are not always easy, but they are sometimes necessary to protect the energy of the whole company.

:::Tunnel Thinking: The Silent Trap:::

Tunnel thinking is when your mind sees only one path and refuses to consider alternatives. It’s not focus, it’s blindness disguised as certainty.

How it shows up:
1. You insist there’s only one “right” decision, ignoring every other option.
2. You reject counterarguments before even listening.
3. You get stuck repeating the same solution, even when it’s failing.
4. You confuse stubbornness with clarity and call it “being focused.”

The truth: tunnel thinking isn’t strength. It’s weakness. It’s a lack of mental flexibility, a refusal to face reality beyond your narrow frame.

How to break it:
• Force yourself to ask: “What’s the opposite view? What if I’m wrong?”
• Seek professional guidance. A coach or therapist won’t flatter your tunnel, they’ll challenge it.
• Write down at least 3 alternative paths before making a decision. No excuses.
• Practice discomfort. The more you resist opposing views, the more you need them.

If you recognize yourself here, it’s not “focus.” It’s a cage. And the sooner you admit it, the sooner you can step out.

- It’s when the team plays amnesia, and management gives them applause.

Gaslighting is not a conflict, it’s system rot. It is still causes demoralization, conflict, and employee turnover.

The issue cannot be resolved if management deliberately turns a blind eye to gaslighting. Those who engage in gaslighting must be held accountable and visibly dismissed. They are a toxic source of declining performance, directly impacting sales, revenue, the organization’s financial health, and damaging its reputation.
