End of the year, end of a great course. Team Nautilus has now fulfilled its duties. At the beginning of this year a question was given to us, “How fast a person can go totally submerged only using his/her own power”, the answer is: 2.2 m/s. We want to thank you for participating in our journey and wish you all a merry Christmas and a Happy new year!

Uppdraget som formulerades för flera månader sedan är tydligt: bygg en undervattensfarkost med en person utan motor och den ska gå så fort som möjligt.

Målet: Världens snabbaste ubåt
Tanken föddes i januari, bygget började i september. Nu sjösätter en grupp KTH-studenter äntligen sin ubåt som de hoppas ska bli den snabbaste någonsin.

Elevators installed in the front, transmission box with Mirage drives fitted in the back, and also driver position testet, although it's not the "real" driver in the picture

Work in progress! Hopefully the first tests will be in about a week. If you look really close you can also see our fantastic transmission box hiding in the back :)

A selection of wings and rudders, the once in the back are 3-D printed, the ones in the front are cut in foam material and vacuum infused.

After an hectic exam week we have now managed to finish the hull injections! The two halves fit perfectly! Now some reinforcements, hatches, windows will be fit and after that the systems will be integrated.
