Unga Berättar på Kulturskolan Stockholm arbetar för att stärka ungas delaktighet genom att ge dem möjligheten att berätta sin berättelse med medier som verktyg. Sedan 2004 har mer än 8 000 deltagare tagit del i de olika projekten. För att stärka ungas eget skapande och för att nå så många som möjligt samarbetar Unga Berättar med en rad skolor, träffpunkter, högskolor och organisationer. Den metod
som har kommit att bli ett kännetecken för Unga Berättar är Digital Storytelling där den personliga berättelsen alltid är i fokus. In English:
Unga Berättar /Speaking Youth at Kulturskolan Stockholm is a media and democracy center with a mission to enhance young people's creative side and make them tell their stories by using modern technology. Speaking Youth was established in 2004 and until now more than 8 000 participants have taken part in the workshops of the center. To reach as many participants and partners as possible, Speaking Youth currently is cooperating with many schools and organizations. Media coaching gives young people opportunities to make their voices heard in the society. Speaking Youth mainly uses the method Digital Storytelling where the technique is secondary to the personal story.
