Finally taken the time to assemble some more of the forms created over the past 7 months…(still a backlog to process).
And sin the backgound a new wall hanging, porcelain with copper oxide details. I posted a video a while ago showing it in the making.

It surely takes time to complete a project! To go from idea, via prototype(s), numerous mistakes, redesign and simply just the MAKING of things. I got this idea of making small sculptures that would fit on a table or in a window and started on the project in September last year. I reckon I am about halfway through now, still work remaining. But far enough to give you an idea of what I am up to. Hope you find it interesting!

The vases I made a while back are now for sale at Iris Hantverk in Stockholm. This time the color palette is soft green and beige.
Working on some new porcelain wall hangings
The kiln god takes and the kiln god gives 😢/😅. For some reason (probable need new wires) the temperature inside the kiln went crazy and the glaze melted way too much. Luckily the kiln itself survived. Just 4 vases and a kiln shelf that were wasted.
I never ever have put glazed things outside the kiln shelf in order to protect the bottom of the kiln. This one time I did because I needed to finish an order and of course it had to happen. I think the kiln god just wanted to teach me a lesson! The kiln devil 👿

I have extended my flower repertoir! The wonderful poppy is there as always, I am giving the sunflower a second chance and of course, we have the incredible artichoke. The other are wildcards. Let me know if you have a favourite!

Walking around in the warm, welcoming shop & showroom of G.A.D .stockholm on Tegnérgatan and seeing that my objects look som much better here than in my studio! As they would, in a real home where they would be placed carefully by a loving hand in just the right place!
