//
It's hard to turn down 60 grand, but that's exactly what Choe did. And when Facebook went public in 2012 at $38 a share, Choe was suddenly worth $200 million. And those stock prices have only risen since then. 📈

Who said education isn't transforming?
//
According to the , two years before GOT premiered on , linguist David J. Peterson won a contest run by the show's producers to develop Dothraki, the language of "the nomadic clan of horse-riding warriors," from the smattering of made-up words author George R.R. Martin had included in his books. Later in the series, Peterson was tapped again to work on High Valyrian, "a mostly dead language comparable to Latin that is spoken by scholars and priests."
//
After fans started to pick up on Valyrian phrases like “valar morghulis,” or “all men must die,” Duolingo launched lessons in the fictional tongue developed by Peterson himself. Daenerys may be one of the only fluent speakers on the show, but 1.2 million people have studied up on their High Valyrian using the app’s offerings, according to . In fact, High Valyrian had more active users as of April 2019 than Czech, Norwegian, Vietnamese and Hungarian.

Quick! Think back 10 years. Did you ever imagine that "social media manager" would be a thing? What about "influencer marketing director?" Or "Bitcoin broker?" The job market has shifted *a lot* in just a decade and the next generation set to enter the workforce seems to think that it will keep on changing.

According to a recent survey conducted by and YouGov, over 54% of Gen Z expects they'll work a job that doesn't exist yet. And almost 65% of Gez Z also thinks that technology is changing the job market for the better and create new opportunities.

How do you think will the workforce look 10 years from now? What job do you think you'll be working in a decade?

We believe that developing skills is not the sole responsibility of schools. It needs to be done in collaboration with the industry because the industry's demand is what shapes the skills that will be key in students’ future employability.
