This week was a very historic week for the UAE. The first Emirati astronaut head to space.🚀

Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre established the UAE’s first Astronaut Program, the first of its kind in the region aiming to develop scientific 🇦🇪 cadres and prepare future generations of astronauts; to create and cultivate a culture of scientific endeavors and motivating the youth to pursue space science, engineering and technology.

Astronaut AlMansoori and Astronaut AlNeyadi were handpicked from over 4,000 applicants to represent and serve the UAE in a new industry and to be heroes inspiring future generations.

The historic mission of launching the First Emirati Astronaut to the International Space Station will be Wednesday 25 September 2019.

Quick! Think back 10 years. Did you ever imagine that "social media manager" would be a thing? What about "influencer marketing director?" Or "Bitcoin broker?" The job market has shifted *a lot* in just a decade and the next generation set to enter the workforce seems to think that it will keep on changing.

According to a recent survey conducted by and YouGov, over 54% of Gen Z expects they'll work a job that doesn't exist yet. And almost 65% of Gez Z also thinks that technology is changing the job market for the better and create new opportunities.

How do you think will the workforce look 10 years from now? What job do you think you'll be working in a decade?

We believe that developing skills is not the sole responsibility of schools. It needs to be done in collaboration with the industry because the industry's demand is what shapes the skills that will be key in students’ future employability.
