On September 8, OCAC Minister Chia-Ching Hsu visited our school to learn about Mandarin education in Sweden.

Principal Tizzy presented the center's developments, while Minister Hsu warmly engaged with Swedish students and interns from Taiwan, sharing Taiwanese culture and stories.

Heartfelt thanks to Minister Hsu for her inspiring visit, and to Ambassador Yeh and the Taipei Mission in Sweden for their continued support. We look forward to further promoting Mandarin language and culture in Sweden!

A massive thank you to everyone who joined us for our "Taiwan Hiking Day"! We were blessed with wonderfully cool and comfortable weather last Saturday! ☀️

We were thrilled to have over 70 registered participants join our scenic stroll along Brunnsviken lake in Hagaparken, finishing off with a lovely coffee and pastry break at Koppartälten. ☕

It was amazing to see so many people coming together, whether to make new friends, practice Mandarin, catch up with old pals, or even join us all the way from Uppsala!

Thank you all for bringing such great energy and helping us soak in the very end of the Swedish summer. The event was a total success because of you! 🙌

「台灣趣健行」活動圓滿落幕！感謝大家的熱烈參與！

上週六的天氣舒適涼爽，非常適合走走！感謝特別撥空來參加的每一位朋友❤️

這次活動反應非常熱烈，有超過 70 位朋友報名參加。大家跟著我們一起漫步在哈加公園（Hagaparken）著名的 Brunnsviken 湖畔，享受夏末美好的陽光與新鮮空氣，最後還一起在 Koppartälten 享受了咖啡點心時光 ☕

Can you believe we are already halfway through July? We hope you are all having a fantastic summer and fully enjoying the beautiful Swedish sun and holiday season! ☀️

It’s been a little while since our BBQ & Picnic Party at the end of May, but the laughter, delicious food, and warm smiles we shared still warm our hearts. Looking back, it was an absolutely perfect weekend, brought to life by clear blue skies and the best community vibes.

📸 Event Highlights:

❤️A taste of Asia : Our limited-edition handmade Japanese onigiri, authentic Taiwanese bubble tea, and sizzling grilled sausages were a massive hit!

❤️Charity bazaar & homemade treats : The secondhand flea market was bustling with treasure hunters supporting sustainability. A huge thank you to the families who baked delicious homemade desserts! Every bite was filled with warmth and love.

❤️Music & culture : Unwinding while listening to the elegant, live Guzheng performance! The blend of cultures made that summer afternoon truly magical.

❤️Wonderful connections: It was beautiful to see families playing, friends catching up, and so many new faces getting to know our school and community in such a relaxed, welcoming setting.

A big shoutout to our incredible volunteers who worked tirelessly behind the scenes, and to every single one of you who brought your bright smiles! 🌟

Thank you all for making our Taiwanese Mahjong event an absolute blast!

It was incredible to see so many first-timers go from being completely puzzled by the tiles to confidently shuffling, playing, and shouting "Hu!" thanks to our on-site mentors. 🀄️

The authentic bubble tea and classic Taiwanese snacks brought a sweet taste of Taiwan right here to Stockholm, while the blending of Mandarin speakers, international friends, and solo attendees created the perfect, relaxed atmosphere for cultural exchange and making new connections.

Taiwan’s Oscar submission Left Handed Girl is finally coming to Sweden today!

The film follows three women navigating life in a vibrant, energetic and charming story set among Taipei’s colorful night markets.

Watching this film is not only a wonderful cinematic experience, it’s also a fantastic way to explore Taiwanese culture, from everyday life and family dynamics to the unique atmosphere of Taiwan’s night market scene.

For Mandarin learners, it’s also a great opportunity to hear authentic Mandarin in a real-life context.
