I used to tell myself I didn’t feel inspired or motivated.
Even though the longing to create was always there.
For me, it was a way to avoid the risk of being disappointed in my work.
The perfectionist within me didn’t allow anything “mediocre.”
But the shift came when I did it anyway.
I started drawing in a small format and told myself it was just for fun. Nothing more.
And guess what?
The more I showed up, the more my inspiration and motivation grew.
So if you’re feeling stuck, try this:
Set a timer for 10 minutes and create something just for you.
Let it be bad. Let it be messy.
See it as an exercise, not something that has to become a masterpiece.
Draw. Doodle. Fill a page with two colors.
Don’t overthink it. Trust your gut.
