Our way of thinking is our life!
Have you ever thought about the source of the biggest misunderstandings and problems in our relationships with ourselves and others?
At any moment, we may get involved in arguments with our partner, children, neighbours, colleagues and even ourselves.
Our thoughts on ourselves and others, our attitude, have the final say in how we feel and act.
Understanding the root cause of this problem is important in finding effective solutions to relationship challenges.
From our chosen words, to feelings and reactions in response to the environment and people around us, have nothing to do with the people and events that seem to be causing them. Our surroundings are just excuses and catalysts that trigger our own thoughts and feelings that have been accumulated in our minds for years. We even feel extremely loyal and sensitive to some of our thoughts, to the extent of calling them values and purpose of life. These solidified thoughts can’t wait to find an opportunity to express themselves and show off.
The human brain is capable of using all its energy to prove its superiority, to the extent that in some conditions it can even resort to violence, war and murder to prove a made-up thought and idea. Honour killings and political and religious punishments and executions are some of the most obvious and disgraceful cases of the dominance of rigid and blind thoughts in people who don’t know any better.
When we learn and accept that each person sees life only through a personal lens and magnifying glass, which only is an innocent sum of their personal thoughts and experiences, the way to finding lasting solutions to create healthy and beautiful relationships and peace of mind opens up: Misunderstandings and visible differences that are caused by the diversity of thoughts get a much better chance to be understood and resolved.
Finding the best solutions is only possible in the presence of love and compassion.
By becoming aware of the power of thought, as the source of all our behaviour, we are in a stronger position to get better, to connect, to be kind, to forgive and to love ourselves and the others… to experience happiness and joy!🌈
