I just read Virginia Roberts Giuffre's book "Nobody's Girl" and I'm devastated. Especially knowing now she's gone. I drew this cartoon almost 10 years ago to illustrate what women, girls, and men who care are up against: carelessness protected by power. Let's not give up caring.

Identity, loss of self...
When born into a world where the dynamics are outplayed in a fashion that children cannot be children, where attention is given only when being quite, polite and well behaved, taking responsibility for those around, giving up the self just to get attention, love, and a sense of belonging just to feel that one matters and is loved, unfortunately the child's autonomy is at stake.
Children then cannot be children forcing them into a faster growth where the child spark for play, curiosity, fantasy, exploration, joy for being in the presence of all that is happening around, engaging with the world in ways that engagement coexist simultaneously are being shattered, the whole internal world of children shatters the views and expectations one might have adopted through experiences and interactions in relationship to the world. This is crucial because if the society abandons children we are in fact abandoning them, literally leaving children all alone in a world with a clear message.
There is no one to rely on and automatically survival and adaptation emerges;
Surviving often means that there is no one to rely, the world is dangerous and mean, there is no one to trust, and '' i rather do not depend on no one because internally '' i know that people, states, institutions, relationships'' are unreliable and at times even dangerous and painful.''
When you cannot rely on others, you might feel that you cannot rely on yourself because you might not know who you are, what you want, where you're going, living on the guard and constantly looking for threat, where the surroundings becomes a hostile place and the constant survival is internalised, adapting and becoming destructive on the long term.
We are living breathing organisms, not just social beings, becoming our own environment, and if our environment signals chaos and dysfunction then we are sooner or later merging into an internalised sense of self, organising ourselves in the face of the environmental dynamics.

The Venom....
Lately i was caught up in a thought trying to understand the cycle of prostitution. After meeting so many women in the s*x industry and working through my own darkness i stumbled upon some old picture with myself from that period. What caught me was the emptiness in the eye both in myself and those i met, like the light in their eye fades away. Where the soul becomes darkened by the constant exploitation, dehumanisation and objectification where the humanness disappears and is nothing left but a shell for the buyers to exploit.
In the movie Spiderman where the good guy innocence is corrupted and overtaken by a dark liquid form, penetrating and overtaking the innocence of the person killing out the good in one and shading one from inside out, where everything good in a human is shattered and the light in the heart is darkened and the lightness in the eye are no longer to be seen because the Venom has attacked every aspect of the human goodness by darkening and corrupting the most deepest aspect of the person, namely the soul.
And thats why S*X is never going to be WORK because every s*x purchase is one step closer into destroying and killing the most important thing in a human namely, the soul and ones dignity.

Minors called for s*x worker???
How is it possible that countries where selling s*xual services is viewed as work can further allow exploitation of the most vulnerable?! Namely children, isn't enough that for ex; in the Netherlands prostitution is legalised. Now being up to normalise child s*x work??? Have they gone so deeply into insanity that they no longer can discern between right and wrong??
Don't they see that children who allow themselves to be exploited mostly by old and perverted men in their nature can further exploit children due to the betrayal society has imposed on children. How is it that the most intellects and most educated in the states and UN further perpetuate exploitation of the children rather than having some heart and seeing what their normalisation has inflicted upon the society. Meanwhile internationally where women and children are constantly brought into their system to be exploited s*xually by tourist and members of the country.
Don't you see that in the Netherlands are hundreds according to'' NL TIMES'' human trafficking cases reported each year while s*xual abuse is skyrocketing and then with their high intellect still want to normalise further child s*xual exploitation by naming it as JOB? Are you serious?? How long do women have to pay for the stupidity of those who allow such crimes to occur. How to trust a system that directly, indirectly perpetuates harm on the vulnerable??

S*X WORK KILLS
There is something particular in the s*x industry that no words can really name the harms women endure in that men made industry.
S*x work shatters women into pieces, literally, becoming fragmented and disembodied from their own body, their sense of self, their s*xuality, their feelings, merging even deeper into the depts of their soul.
S*x work is a crime against women, against children, our culture and the societal views towards women. Glamourising and normalising violence towards girls and women driven by patriarchal states are in fact in nature criminal acts since they are dehumanising women and young girls with the pretence the selling oneself to men is just a job like any other job. Women offering themselves up to be used, exploited and dehumanised, brought down into a mere s*xual being for men to disguise.

The ideal s*x worker...
Submissive; yes! Obedient; yes! Adaptive; yes! S*xualised; yes! Pleasing and subordinated; yes! Being always ready to please others, she has no limits, ready to fulfil the fantasies of the buyers. And the s*x buyers love that.
Who's word are we using when we use the term s*x work? There is no person, child, daughter, who suddenly says '' when ill grow up i'll become a s*x worker''.
S*x work as a strategic misconception and pro s*x work;
Since most women who enter in the s*x industry are young and have no idea of what does that mean, how the industry is going to affect their self image, their sense of self, their self worth, their perception of who they are in relationship to others, damaging their own s*xuality. Becoming easy targets easily influenced and constantly being told a narrative that what they do is a job like any other, which in fact helps them separate themselves from the act itself and selling s*x certainly becomes a work. However, separating oneself from its body its impossible. What is not impossible is separating the sense of self from the body during the s*xual act; more on this later.
Who's winning on this?
Is really the sellers or the pro s*x lobbies and third parties such as pimps, brothel owners, who wins on it? Well one thought, Open Society Foundation and other linked organisations and corporations fund by philanthropist are supporting and financing umbrellas and s*x work lobby. And do they have the heart for the people who sell themselves calling s*x work to be empowering when in reality is exploitative. Open Foundation Society calls it for what it is, namely that there are no other options and therefore its better for these women to sell themselves, well isn't that somehow exploitative then? If they have the money to fund s*x work lobbying than maybe they might have the means to bring education, possibilities, and real job opportunities into reality;
How ones becomes a s*x worker; She is not born like that, she becomes that; How? There are many layers and its hardly one particular thing that pushes a person into selling s*x.
- Starting with how the society portrays, what movies and media normalises. If women are taught to be seen but never heard, society turning the gaze on those who need it most, if they are blamed for what has happened to them rather than seeing them, in actuality society indirectly are abandoning those who need justice and acknowledgment. Societal betrayal leads to self internalised abandonment, self punishment and isolation. S*xualisation is when a person is constantly brought down to its s*xuality as if there would be nothing else but its own s*xuality, then the person is objectified and limited to merely a s*xual object, in reality thats the life women in the s*x industry are going through on a daily basis. Strengthening their sense of self as if they were a s*xual living machinery for men to use. What is sad about this is that once you are in that its really hard to get out!
And why its hard to get out?
Because the entire experience s*xualises stripping one from being a human, bringing the person down into a mere s*xual object, affecting one's self worth, self identity, sense of self, becoming the hostage in a prison created and portrayed by a society that legalises and normalises violence towards women and girls. Which is traumatising for the whole society but especially for those that are living in that hell on a daily basis without any future for something better. Legalisation and s*x work narratives use frames with the pretence of empowerment which in fact shatters and breaks lives in a way that for many their entire lives be destroyed, never repaired and abandoned by a society that glamourises objectification.

- Why is it that in our modern world so many of us still call prostitution the oldest profession?
- Instead of seeing it for what it is...
- Prostitution has been always the most degrading phenomena where women have been always treated like men's commodity;
Where women have been systematically subordinated under the rule of men.
- Where in fact prostitution or the selling of women's bodies were derived by the demand that men needed to have access to women, as women were merely a s*xual being or object to please and create pleasure for men's s*xual gratification; This was not initiated by women this was initiated by the demand of men where the narrative got stuck into a certain translation, as if we were still living in the era of stone age, calling it as the oldest profession instead of seeing it for what it is, namely violence against women. Seemingly, with such a mindset it shows that we as a race haven't evolved that much. Or is that some individuals have got on repeat when it comes to old mindset?? As long as we do not call things for what they are we will never abolish this violence against women, there have been never a case when a woman, a daughter, said that when they gonna grow up they will become a commodity to men's s*xual needs, or what it is that makes a woman a pr******te and from where prostitution is merging from?
- Well, this its easy as prostitution is merging from the exploitation, subordination, violence, cultural and cross-cultural isolation through generation of suppression, degradation, and constant pressure of programming of how women shall act, be, and behave, being a systematic degradation of their true choice, since in childhood little girls were constantly taught to be seen but never heard shattering their own agency and healthy self development where they could have discovered their own self identity, and not an identity that fits everybody around them and programmed into a certain narrative ideology, while their real selves are never surfaced because of constant direct/indirect oppression.
- Isn't it that its time to stand up for this crimes fighting for real rights and real choices that are really giving rise to opportunities and possibilities were everyone can choose for oneself rather than being offered limited choices where women or the most vulnerable ending up in self perpetuating themselves because societies are directing choices and attentions towards self exploitation disguised a choice.
