A couple of years ago I found myself in complete loneliness and devastation. This album expresses through music, mantra and song, the journey of finding my source of strength, joy, light, and love within my heart, a deep and gentle divine flow that I discovered is always with me, and that I have learned to trust.
Thank you to my husband Sopurkh Singh and daughter J*p Preet for all of your love, that has allowed me to envision this album in a safe and cozy space in my heart home. Thank you to my bandmates Sukhmani, Grecco Buratto, and Ram Dass who helped me to birth this music through collaborative writing and their absolutely brilliant and heart opening musical ideas and performance in the studio. This album truly celebrates our live and organic sound, as the foundation of each track comes from live takes.
Thank you to my soul sisters Jahnavi Harrison and Ganavya, two amazing vocalists and musicians who brought such elegance, grace and devotion to this project. Thank you to our producer Ram Dass who guided the process of recording so that we could capture the live magic, and the truth within the music. Thank you to the entire team at El Desierto CasaEstudio for giving us the most beautiful 11 day recording experience we could have ever dreamt of. Thank you to Be Why Music for helping us get the music out to you all. Thank you to the Divine One, who lives and breathes in all of us for allowing these mantras and songs to flow through me.
