Uteschack på Stora Torget in Karlstad?

Dear chess friends - have a look at this proposal to Karlstad kommun by our Karlstad chess friends. It is about building an outdoor chess place at Stora Torget in Karlstad. They need supporting votes from us. Personally, I think this is a great idea (in a weird time of word-scale economic crisis, war, movement to the right of political ideas), isn't it?

Chess at Hammarö bibliothek today! An unexpected success... 12 players (all beginners, young and old, girls and boys) enjoyed chess fun for 2 hours, without any break (!) Instead sending you a photo of this nice little crowd, I am sharing with you a couple of chess-related books you can find in the library. Enjoy reading (and playing chess)!
