Today was House Cup and what a day it was! 🎉🏆

From three-legged races, water balloon volleyball, paper plane competitions, relays, crab walking and cartwheels, there was never a dull moment! 🤩

After all that action, we refuelled with hot dogs for lunch before being treated to a very special surprise – delicious homemade Italian gelato from Alhems Trädgård! 🍦🇮🇹 What a treat!

The smiles, laughter, teamwork and house spirit on display throughout the day were incredible. A huge well done to all our students for giving it their all and making the day so much fun. We even had a surprise visit from Olivia, Hudson & Sienna 🇺🇸 which completed the day ❤️

Today we celebrated the ninth graders’ graduation with a grand ceremony and a reception in the sunshine. We are incredibly proud of them all, and wish them the best of luck as they take the next step in life.
We look forward to seeing them again❤️

🎓✨ Yesterday, we celebrated the graduation of our Year 10, KS4 students, and what an emotional and memorable occasion it was. There certainly weren’t many dry eyes in the room!

We are incredibly proud of each and every one of them and of the strong, confident, resilient, and determined young adults they have become. Watching them grow, achieve, and support one another has been a privilege.

As they take their next steps, we wish them every success and happiness in the exciting journey ahead. You have left a lasting mark on our school community, and you will be missed more than you know.

Congratulations, Graduates! We are so proud of you. 🎓❤️✨

What a day! ☀️ KS1 and KS2 enjoyed a wonderful time with their mentors—walking to the river, having water gun fights, running around, sharing fika, and creating memories together once again. 💙

This Thursday, it’s finally time for our long-awaited House Cup Challenge Day for students in Years F–8.

The day starts at 08.10, after which the students will be divided into groups and will take part in fun tasks and activities throughout the day to collect points for their house. After the competitions, the cup winner will be announced and the children will finish at 13.00. Fritids will be open as usual for children with registered times.

To further boost the team spirit, we hope that as many children and staff as possible will wear their house t-shirts or something else in their house’s colour.

Please bear in mind that we will be spending a lot of time outdoors on this day, so please dress for the weather and bring a water bottle. If the weather is sunny, a cap and sun cream are also a good idea.

It’s Prom night for our graduates, and we couldn’t be prouder of them! ✨
They all look absolutely amazing and we hope they have the best evening celebrating together! 🎉

☀️✈️ We believe the best way to start packing for summer break is by planning our holidays!
Our KS3 Spanish students became travel experts as they researched flights, layovers, accommodation, and restaurants to design their dream trip to a Spanish-speaking country. 🌎

This project combined language skills with real-world travel planning, helping students explore Hispanic cultures while practising their Spanish.

Well done to all our incredible student volunteers at today’s EFA International Day at Sara Kulturhus 🌍❤️

IES was out in full force today with cultural tables, artwork, projects, crafts, games, lectures, presentations, and face painting — all brought to life by our amazing students.

Their enthusiasm, creativity, and dedication shone throughout the entire event. So proud of the way they represented our school and celebrated cultures from around the world 🥹✨

Our KS3 & KS4 students proudly presented the sustainability projects they’ve been working on in Cambridge Global Perspectives on stage at Sara Kulturhus in front of a huge audience — and we could not be more proud ❤️

They spoke with such confidence, passion, and maturity. What an incredible group of students to work with.

And a special shoutout to our very own Sam R & Wanda for WINNING FIRST PLACE!!! 🏆 Huge congratulations to you both, and to every single student who took part.
