In May, Marcus and Gustaf visited our partner and customer Aalen University for two days when they hosted their event "Digital Learning Day".

Aalen University has created an educational ecosystem of "digital workhorses" consisting of Canvas LMS, Zoom X, and Digiexam.

+20 universities in the UK came together to discuss their experiences around Digital Exams and to learn from each other.

Together with The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and Birmingham City University, we hosted a full-day event in London that focused on sharing experiences and thoughts about digital exams.

Some key takeaways from the day include the importance of:
- Having a strategy is essential for implementing and succeeding with digital exams
- Start small and scale up
- Learn from other universities and share experiences, there are different approaches and scenarios
- Tryout a few vendors to find the best match before buying or procuring
- Training staff and students is key to success - build confidence and usage will come
- Gather feedback from users (staff and students) to continuously improve the process

What trends are we seeing in the Digiexam platform?

Carl Nardini mentions a change that progressed quickly during the last years and that is more relevant than ever now.

Usage has widened.

This means that more schools are using Digiexam not only for high-stakes exams when academic integrity is of the utmost importance but also during regular class hours.

Providing an environment that is free from distraction using our lockdown application.

This change was true before the launch of ChatGPT and now we're having more discussions with schools and teachers around the world on how to create environments that are free from ChatGPT, which our lockdown application guarantees but also on how and when to potentially leverage AI in education.
