Summer course: Individual Artistic Work
9 June - 23 August (Apply before 16 March!)
The aim of the course is for students to develop, implement and present an independent artistic idea over an 11-week period, based on a pre-formulated project plan. At the start of the course, students are assigned their own studio and during weekly periods, students have the opportunity to design their project in assigned project rooms, which provides the opportunity to experiment, install and document their work in a larger space.
The course consists of an introductory meeting where the whole group meets, three individual conversations with teachers (including an intro conversation where the student presents his project plan and two studio conversations), and a final presentation session where each student presents his completed project.
Entry requirements:
Work samples and 60 credits in visual arts or equivalent and a passed work sample as well as fulfilment of general entry requirements. Please note that we have a new course plan for this course in 2026, so if you have taken the course before, you can take it again.
