Swedish Coast Guard helps us (Johanna and Per) retrieve a harbour porpoise detector from deep waters outside the island of Ven. The ropes were entangled in a ghost net and our Anguilla boat could not get it free. Thanks Swedish Coast Guard!

Bringing up porpoise sound recorders and wave measurement devices in Öresund on a nice December day. The porpoise sound recorders are part of Johanna Stedts PhD-project on harbour porpoise feeding behavoiur and the wave measurement devices have been working in a eelgrass-coastal erosion project with Theodor Kindeberg and Björn Almström at LTH. This was also the first marine field trip for our new senior lecturer Erik Selander and we were all happy, but a bit tired after getting up the heavy stuff from 30-40 m depth and scraping off blue mussels from ropes from other heavy stuff from 3-8 m depth.....
