Dedicated to people looking to become better communicators and leaders, Toastmasters International i Meetings are Wednesdays on even weeks at 18:00.

Toastmasters@Ideon is the first club in Lund, Sweden dedicated to the self development process of becoming a better communicator and leader. Toastmasters is a self paced class with clubs located all over the world. More than 300,000 like minded people meet to find their voice and increase their communications and leadership skills. Guests are ALWAYS welcome!

Preliminary plan for upcoming meetings:

Oct 22 - Anti-word meeting: A meeting in regular format with a twist. Instead of the word of the day, we have an anti-word of the day. A commonly used word should NOT be used.

Nov 5 - Theme meeting: a meeting based on holidays, movies, historical periods, or other topics. Speeches and Table Topics revolve around the theme (participants may dress up)

Nov 19 - Role-playing meeting: Participants will be assigned special roles related to a theme, for example acting as characters in a mystery meeting.

Dec 3 - Ice-breaker meeting: a meeting where old and new members give ice-breaker styled speeches to learn more about each other.

Dec 17 - Open mic sessions: Participants share poems, stories, or other forms of expression outside of formal speeches.

Jan 14 - Table topics marathon: only table topics and their evaluations

Jan 28 - Speech marathon (no table topics)

Feb 11 - Reverse meetings: The meeting starts at the end with evaluations and work backward to the beginning with speeches.

Feb 25 - Debates or Panel Discussions: Focused on a specific topic of interest.

Mar 11 - Linkers meet: Co-ordinated with Malmö TM for a meeting together!
