Single Molecule Spectroscopy in Lund

This year, PhD student Klara Suchan, gave NanoLund this picture of a result from aligning the crossection of a potassium doped CsPb(I,Br)3 sample in a nano X-ray beam in order to measure the distribution of potassium in the sample by nano-XRF. The different lines are linescans over the crossection, while each line was measured at a different angle between the X-ray beam and the sample..

At the SOLA meeting in Karlstad, we all working with conjugated polymers - organic semiconductors. Boris and Chen presenting, Ellen is the boss.

Today we have NanoLund annual meeting with the theme “Light for Nano, Nano for Light”. Almost 200 participants, a real conference! Many colleagues working in the fields of laser spectroscopy and photophysics give presentations. I am happy to be a part of the organization. The picture used for the NanoLund Poster (on the photo) is luminescence microscopy image of a perovskite film I took some years back using our microscope. Light and luminescence in particular is always fascinating!

Dr. Bruce Li (Jun Li) is leaving us. It was 5 years together. I am sad that this time is over, however, I am happy that you found a job and I really hope that your experience with SMS group will help you in the future. Visit us in Lund!

IFSOE.2021, Moscow school on organic electronics. The talk on luminescence for organic electronics is delivered. It was really good for a change to participate in a conference on organic electronics which was our main research field before 2014. After that we became fully immerged to the "perovskite rush" and I was not really following the progress of organic electronics closely. I learnt many new things at the meeting! Cool to see the progress.
