🌟 Welcome back to Luleå International School! 🌟

We are very happy to welcome all our students back for a new and exciting term! We hope you have had a wonderful summer and are ready for a great start together.

School starts on Wednesday August 19. at 9:00, and we will meet in the classrooms.

📅 Next week’s times:

Wednesday 19 August: 9:00–12:00
Thursday: 8:30– 13:00
Friday: 8:30– 13:00

This first week will be a little different, with a varied programme focusing mainly on class activities, getting to know each other, teamwork and creating a positive start to the new school year.

We are proud to announce that Julie Moreira, vice president of our Student Council, will represent Luleå International School at the Nordic Youth Summit in Tromsø on the 27th- 29th of May! 🇸🇪🇳🇴🇩🇰🇫🇮

The summit gathers young people from across the Nordic countries to discuss important topics such as democracy, sustainability, inclusion, and youth influence. It is a great opportunity to share ideas, learn from others, and make young voices heard on an international level.

Thank you to all the students, parents, and friends for a wonderful evening of cultural exchange here at LIS! We truly appreciate the warm atmosphere and everyone who helped make the evening so special. Events like this remind us how much we can learn from one another and how cultural exchange brings people closer together. It was a beautiful celebration of community, friendship, and understanding. Thank you again for such a meaningful and enjoyable evening. Together we are LIS!
