At the first glance at the event when announced that Gunnebo had its IT system breached, it did not really surprised me as there a several groups (ideologists, terrorists, criminals, state sponsored and so on) out there more than capable to breach most IT systems. But when the followup announced that tens of thousands documents had been stolen and many of them related to security installations and blueprints of government buildings, we where flabbergasted of the situation. How is it possible that a second theft of weapons at the government building can happen.? We have been working for decades both within public as well as private security and none of us have ever seen something like this, it is beyond unacceptable. There is a a serious ignorance both within the contracted security company providing security to the government as well as within the security of the government making this possible. There is something seriously wrong when 6 clock 17, including ammunition, can be stolen from the government building when "locked-up" in secure storage and that two different persons can be working at Arlanda airport, in security classified zones where of one is illegally residing in Sweden. Somewhere there is a control mechanism not in place and a serious security revision needed to shut the wholes in their "procedures" or shall we call it lack of security procedures. [ 31 more words ]

When reading the article in the Swedish newspaper Expressen, they claim that the bombe place in a moped and stored at a local police station was there for months. DO they really not have any procedures for handling items either taken under custody, or seised during police investigations?
