🚀 365 DAYS UNTIL STRIDES STARTS!

Today, we celebrated an exciting milestone with the STRIDES Launch Event at BTH, bringing together colleagues, partners, and members of our community to mark the beginning of a new chapter.

The energy, conversations, and enthusiasm for the future of sustainability education made it clear: something special is taking shape.

One year from today, we will welcome the very first cohort of students to STRIDES – our brand new Master´s Programme in Strategic Innovation and Design for Sustainability at Blekinge Institute of Technology.

Building on the global success of the MSLS programme and decades of research in sustainable product development, STRIDES is our new international 2-year Master's programme for those who want to drive sustainability transformation in business and industry.

One of our popular distance courses is called Foundations for Strategic Sustainable Development. The course starts in week 36 and we have a few seats left!

🌍 MSLS at the Blekinge Institute of Technology has attracted more than 900 students, leading and working towards sustainability across multiple sectors of society in 99 countries worldwide.

👉 Through the MSLS Alumni Stories from the Field initiative, we're showcasing the incredible work that MSLS alumni are doing all around the world.

💎 One of them is Paula Carramaschi Gabriel, and this is her MSLS Alumni Story from the Field:

Paula´s mission is to collaborate with communities in the Brazilian Amazon, so that they can have a better quality of life. She believes that collaboration is key to most of the challenges we face as humanity. Paula sees herself as a bridge-builder between people, projects, funding, and territories.

She loves to connect initiatives, implement solutions inside communities, and build strong relations between different actors. Paula feels that the answers we seek are already present in the traditional wisdom of the indigenous and traditional population.

Paula thrives when people have a better sense of community, understand their potential, share more, and truly believe that better days are possible. Those feelings can come from collective work such as an event taking place inside the community or during a deep conversation about the challenges that they face every day.

MSLS is one of Paula´s favourite life experiences! It was truly important for her to meet other humans who function very similarly to how she does when it comes to community building, mutual respect, navigating differences, and believing in a better world. The year in Karlskrona made her realize that the world is really just one, that distances are relative and that she can gather strengths and talents with her new “MSLS family” to co-create the world we all dream of.
