We know that there are many requests to exhibit artworks in our exhibitions but not everyone can secure a place. There has been asked to us the question about why our company does not selection of the artists before an exhibition. We in Interartex don´t believe to systematic selection of the artists. We believe that most of the selections that you see around are based on the wrong criteria and are too hasty. This does not mean that anyone can expose in our exhibitions. When we receive a registration form to an exhibition by an artist who we does not know and who has not been selected by our Art Curators, always check the CV of the artist and her/his work. If we believe that the artist is not yet ready for our exhibitions or she/he has no sales possibilities in the exhibition in which she/he chose to expose, we prefer to contact the artist and ask to withdraw the registration, explaining the reason. In this way there are no unnecessary selection-costs for the artist and Interartex makes sure that the exhibition in its totality is both qualitatively and commercially successful. We see that there are always problems when artists send artworks and have to deal with the customs. Artworks arrive to late to the exhibitions, sometimes don´t arrive at all becouse the artist doesn´t know that he have to pay the customs-bill. Please, remember to all your artists from outside Europe that they have to arrange with the guesting galleries for the transport and they have epecially to think and inform the gallerist about the customs problems. We want to inform all the art curators who collaborate with Interartex that the exhibition in Rome has achived the number of 10 artworks. It means that we are precise in the middle of the available number for this exhibition. You are welcome to inform your artist to hurry up ad register the artworks that they want to exhibit in Rome because, when we achieve the number of 15 artworks, we cannot garantee anymore the place in the exhibition.

The question that you read in the title is given to our organization at least three times a week, with some variant, like: "How many places have remained in the gallery?" or "How far you put the artworks from eachother?" and then "Can I wait to register my work to the exhibition as only four works are already registered?". These are all right questions in appearance, but that hide a fundamental problem.

A serious and professional company does not organize an exhibition based on the full capacity of the gallery!

We are not at the theater, where the number of seats is fixed. In an exhibition of art it is necessary to reflect on the readability of the works and this depends on many factors, the size of the works, harmonization of the artwork with the other one, laying the contrasting artworks with each other to bring out the best out of each artwork and so on.

So it is practically impossible to define when an exhibition will be complete.

Registration will close when we judge that the show is just perfect.
