Statement: Jerker Moodysson
“The students have shown amazing entrepreneurial spirit and dedication. This year’s challenge was very different both in form and in the focus of the challenge. Both the organizers from JIBS and JSA Entrepreneurship Academy as well as the participating teams have been able to adapt to the rapidly changing situation. This has truly been a challenge in line with the JIBS guiding principle of being ‘responsible in action.’”

Statement: Sven Rydell, Board member of Aktiestinsens stiftelse
“This year’s competition has been fully in line with the spirit and intentions of Aktiestinsen. The students have shown both creativity and innovativeness to in providing solutions to the huge challenge that we all face together. Another important criterion is that the students have been able to present their solutions with sustainable business models. “

Some important information regarding E-challenge:

This year, due to the coronavirus outbreak, and in line with Jönköping University's decision to transition to more digital operations, the annual JIBS Entrepreneurship Challenge will depart from its usual format to take place fully online.

The purpose of the challenge is to stimulate creativity, entrepreneurship, interdisciplinary thinking, as well as foster team building and collaboration between students from Jönköping International Business School (JIBS), the School of Engineering (JTH).

Every year, a company is invited to present a real-life business problem that they need help to solve. Teams made up of four students will then have 24 hours to come up with a creative and inspiring solution and prepare a pitch to sell their idea. After 24 hours, on the 1st April, the teams will pitch their solutions, via digital link-up, to a jury of industry experts, business people and school representatives who will award the best solutions with a generous sum of money from the prize pool.

More information will be posted on our social media channels and sent to the participants. The selected teams will get an e-mail on monday!

Have a lovely weekend and take care!✨
