BECOME A COURSE DEVELOPER!❤️💙
We are currently looking for more course developers who want to be involved in developing the education at HLK.
What does it mean to be a course developer?
Being a course developer means that during the course of the semester you act as an extra ear for possible feedback from your classmates. You will also summarize the course evaluations and have a short meeting with your course manager after each course.
Why should you I become a course developer?
You get to participate in MEQ´s event, a patch and a diploma from the director of education at HLK, as a confirmation that you have participated in quality assurance of education at the school. You also get study abroad points, which gives you great advantage before studying abroad.
How do I apply?

As MEQ25 comes to an end, we would like to say thank you and goodbye for now.
We would like to thank everyone involved for a fun and enriching year. We are happy to have been able to contribute to the quality of education at HLK.
We now hand over to a wonderful group, MEQ26, who are looking forward to new opportunities and challenges. Our email will now be closed and will reopen on 12 January.

The School of Education and Communication and the Dag Hammarskjöld Foundation in Jönköping have the pleasure to invite you to a public lecture on Dag Hammarskjöld’s life and deeds through personal stories, rare sources and reflections on Wednesday 22 October 2025 at 15: 15 in HC 113, HLK Building.
The lecture will be conducted in English by Caroline and Fredrik Hammarskjöld, who are related to him and members of the Foundation. Fredrik’s presentation is entitled: ”The Hammarskjöld family- from 1600 to present days” and Caroline’s ”Discover the inner life and timeless leadership of Dag Hammarskjöld through personal stories, rare texts, and reflections.”
Dag Hammarskjöld was born in Jönköping on July 29, 1905 and became the second UN General Secretary until his death on 18 September 1961 in a plane accident whose causes remain controversial in Ndola, current Zambia. His tenure as UN Secretary General was consequential for peace and security in those years. He received the Nobel Peace Prize posthumously in 1961.
