I am bilingual in Lithuanian/ Polish with fluent knowledge of Russian which gives me better opportunities in applying multi language skills in teaching my students. ently in Sweden. I reside in Sweden and teach English & Swedish at a high school. In 2006 I did the university of Cambridge methodology course on student - centered approach in teaching English as a foreign language. Since then I apply the University of Cambridge methods in my teaching work. This makes learning personalized, engaging and competency-based. At my lessons I create opportunities for students to work in groups, collaborate, experiment, discuss and revise. With students at the center of their learning, I am becoming more of a support person guiding the students’ progress and learning. This also leads to more data driven decision making. I teach Swedish/English/Polish/Lithuanian/Russian from beginner to intermediate/ advanced levels in small groups of 2 - 4 and bigger groups of 4 – 6 students, 6 – 8 students as well as individually & online.
