The UN initiated SDSN in Northern Europe is focusing on scientific and technological expertise to find solutions to create a more sustainable society.

We are the Nordic chapter of the global United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network (UN SDSN). Despite a long tradition of research, education, and innovation for sustainable development, only a fraction of the results of these activities is utilized to steer society in a more sustainable direction. Our aim is to link knowledge to action for society’s achievement of the Sustainable De

velopment Goals (SDGs) and the Paris Climate Agreement. We promote joint learning and sustainable solutions. Our members include academic institutions in Denmark, Iceland, Finland, Norway, and Sweden.
