Hej Autumn 2022 Masters students!

Start the first day of your masters with a unique part of Swedish culture – Fika.

The corridor in B4 will have from 9:30 – 11:00 tomorrow. See you there!

For most first-year international students, this will be your very first Fika.
What can be a better way to have your first Fika at the school with the warm company of your fellow first-year and senior-year students!

Hej Master's programme students starting this year!

Due to the recent developments, we are discontinuing the “BBQ” and “Day trip” planned for the introduction week of 2022 (https://studentportal.gu.se/english/my-studies/handels/graduate-school/new-student?skipSSOCheck=true). However, we are glad to announce that we have extended the duration of Fika on Monday, 29 August 2022. Now the Fika will take place from 9:30 – 11:00.

Inside stories from former international students who found a job in Sweden

If you are an international student who would like to stay and work in Sweden, listen to this candid talk and the personal stories of former students, about the struggles and success of seeking a job in Sweden. They will share their inspiration and insights on how to make a smooth transition from student to professional life.

We would like to give you a broad picture of the opportunities waiting for you after graduation, that is why we have invited alumni with diverse cultural backgrounds, who work in different companies and have their own story to share.

The participants will among other things shed a light on:
• How come they choose to study in Sweden.
• Their own job seeking-process, and what they would do differently if they started seeking a job now
• What mistakes present graduates should avoid
• How much did the social network help and how can you build it?
• What knowledge from school is useful in working life and what other skills do students need to acquire?

We will conclude with Q&A session.
