PhD Pub Gothenburg - Doktorandpuben Göteborg An Informal, relaxed, knowledge building and ”turbotransdisciplinary” occasion for Gothenburg's PhD students and researchers to meet.

Founded in 2011, PhD pubs are run informally by a small group of volunteers. The PhD pub is a monthly gathering for social networking and informal discussions on themes from varied disciplines, it is open to everyone who is interested in research and experimentation. The gatherings take place at different venues throughout the city and come in different forms: Social pubs are evenings of unstructured discussions with whomever you meet there. Discovery pubs include an invited guest who offers a short presentation or demonstration followed by open discussion and socializing.
