Actually both from my ABC247.wtf webshop today…

First apologies to everyone who got one or several extra invoices/receipts in their email today! Apparently an update in the invoicing program caused this Halloween glitch 👻

Thank you everyone who got in touch to tell me something was up, and super thank you to amazing ghost buster admin Suss who had it all sorted within hours. 🙏 So if you got one or several extra receipts/invoices today please just toss them in the bin 🥰

🍭 The treat part 🍭

When all was sorted we sent out emails via two different systems to make sure everyone would know not to worry about that invoice/reciept.

And since this all happened to happen at halloween we decided to throw in a little treat in the form of a discount code too 🍭

So yes the email with the discount code is authentic, and I hope you find a nice treat for yourself in the store 🥰

Health update & current POV

Bed rest continues!
I’m doing fine, alternating exhausted & bored.
Just spoke to my doctor and got a meaningful update 🥳

Short version: Been home 3 weeks, acute intestine inflammation. Treatments continue and thorough examination is ordered, time frame unknown. I keep doing as little as possible until something changes. 🥰

Long version for those who really want one 😅:

So this is the situation: a
Acute inflammation in my reconstructed lower intestine (most of which was surgically removed due to ulcerative colitis about 25 years ago) The preliminary diagnosis is ”pouchitis”, might be subject to change.

These reconstructed intestines have actually behaved pretty well all these years 🥰 Only 2.5 yrs ago there was a brief period of ulcers/infla

This summer it acted up a bit again & I did 6 weeks of local steroids and also strong antibiotics. Did pretty well.

Just after treatments ended; total stomach crash. Eventually got to emergency care, and back on treatments.
Today marks 3 weeks of mostly bed rest (& toilet breaks 😅) - and numerous phone calls & visits to various doctors to clarify important stuff like:
Who’s in charge of my case?
What treatment are we doing and why?
What tests are we running?
And maybe most important, which body parts do I actually have left since that surgery 25 years ago?

So today finally my local hospital gastro specialist decided that he is in fact in charge 🥳
So yay, I now have a clinic that agrees I belong there.
He’s also now ordering an examination so they can see for themselves what it looks like, which body parts are left and which are gone, and also take new samples et c. 🥳🥳🥳

Meanwhile I’ll do my best to stay in bed or move very gently (today my cosy bed is very reinforcing…), eat tiny portions of super digestible food, and stay hydrated to the best of my abilities.

Hours and hours of endless fun 🤪

So for the foreseeable future, I’ll be home or nearby doing as little as I possibly can. The timeframe is unknown…
