Vi har en komplett utbildningsmiljö med kandidat-, master-, och forskarutbildning - både generell och konstnärlig. På kandidatnivå kan du utbilda dig till modedesigner, textildesigner, textilekonom, textilingenjör, textil produktutvecklare, designtekniker eller butikschef. Våra avancerade utbildningar är inom mangement, teknik och design. Vi finns under namnet: textilhogskolan

Hej! I’m Seline, from the Netherlands 🇳🇱

I’m one of the new student ambassadors, and I’ll be creating content for the University of Borås. I’m currently in my second year of the Master’s Programme in Fashion and Textile Design, where I focus on Textile Interaction Design.

I’m interested in giving textiles an extra dimension and exploring the possibilities of engaging with them through touch, texture, and form.

What I find so amazing about the Swedish School of Textiles is all the fantastic textile labs. From weaving, sewing, tufting, printing, and knitting to digital technologies and more, there is such a wide variety of tools and possibilities to explore, all supported by highly skilled teachers and technicians.

I can’t wait to show you around the university and give you some insight into all the interesting things happening here.

Hej! 👋

I’m Irene, one of the new Digital Ambassadors at the University of Borås!

I’m currently in my second year of the Master’s programme in Fashion Marketing & Management, and I absolutely love it! I’ve always been into fashion, but I’m especially interested in what happens behind the clothes: the business, marketing, creativity and, of course, sustainability.

As a Dominican-Italian student living in Sweden, I’m excited to share my perspective and give you a glimpse into student life in Borås, my experience at the university, and everything in between.

Preparation weeks ahead of the first semester as Fashion Design students!✂️✍️🧵
 
The students who will begin their first semester of the Fashion Design programme next week have over the past two weeks had the opportunity to get ready for the start of term through a preparatory course. The aim of the training is to prepare the students for the educational programme by developing their skills in garment construction and pattern making, and to practise certain techniques, that will be useful in the upcoming courses.
 
“Starting at the Swedish School of Textiles has also meant moving to a new country for us, so there has been a lot of new things happening at once recently. Therefore these preparation weeks have been so valuable, giving us the chance to settle into campus life, get to know the other students, and gradually get into the mindset of the educational programme. We are really excited for the semester to begin!” said Eden and Javi about their first weeks at the Swedish School of Textiles.

"Att Textilekonomutbildningen är så bred passade mig väldigt bra. Den har en kombination av kurser inom företagsekonomi och management, olika textila kurser, om exempelvis mode, materiallära, produktion, inköp och logistik."

Drömmen om att driva eget företag ledde Tilda Brännberg till Textilekonomutbildningen. I dag har Tilda både påbörjat sitt företagande i liten skala och tagit examen från Masterprogrammet i Fashion Management och Marknadsföring.
