Our PYP students started Sports with an interesting twist on the Macarena 💃🕺—a fun and energetic warm-up!

Meanwhile, our MYP students got straight into action playing floor hockey (innebandy) 🏑🔥

🎄 Happy Holidays & Happy New Year! ✨

We hope you all had a lovely, restful break and a great start to the new year.
We’re really looking forward to starting a new term on Thursday!

Our MYP students explored who Alfred Nobel was yesterday and what the Nobel Prize stands for. Then they picked their own nominees — and their reasons are amazing.

Yesterday our hands turned purple.
Purple for the women who are no longer with us,
for the girls who deserve to grow up free,
and for a future where equality is not a dream,
but an everyday reality.

At our IB school, we educate for peace, empathy and respect, because violence is prevented through education.

✨ Our MYP students have been working on a unit in Language Acquisition all about culture and identity!

The unit finished with a project where they created a video introducing Bodens Kommun to help new international families who are moving here feel welcomed and informed. 🌍💚

We’ve been so busy thriving and learning that we haven’t posted in a while - but what an Autumn Term it has been! 🍁🍂

Some of our highlights included:
-Berry picking in the Swedish forest 🫐🌳
-Being invited to speak at ‘s International Afterworks 🎤
-Celebrating Diwali together 🪔
-Ice skating ⛸️
-Orienteering in the woods 🏃‍♀️
-Outdoor Integration Day - where our IB students proudly took 3rd place! 🌲

Welcome back, everyone!📚🐣✏️

We hope you had a lovely Easter break, wherever and however you spent it. We’re refreshed, recharged, and ready to get this term going again — and we’re so excited for all the learning, fun, and sunshine that summer will bring!

As our magical winter season comes to a close, we reflect with gratitude on the snowy adventures we’ve shared and look ahead to the exciting possibilities that spring will bring!

One of the highlights of the season was our recent Sports Snow Days — a memorable experience where all our students had the opportunity to learn downhill skiing! From our confident and risk-taking PYP students who took to the slopes at Pagla, to our resilient and open-minded MYP students who embarked on a road trip to Kåbdalis Ski Resort, it was a joyful and empowering day for all involved.

A huge thank you to our dedicated staff, supportive parents, and the incredible local community members whose collaboration and care made this day possible.

We’re now looking forward to our next Sports Day, which will focus on athletics and orienteering as we embrace the energy of spring and summer!
