Through its intuitive features and learning community imsomi encourages students studying in their medical career to be collaborative, insightful and immersive while still having fun! This is because all questions, answers, challenges and study notes originate from the community, in fact the community make sure everything is relevant! The collaborative design of imsomi encourages some of the effective social elements of studying, allowing students to study in groups or individually, in real time or slow time, use private content or public content, all while keeping track of their progress and ranking in a rewarding and engaging platform. imsomi is both Moodle and Blackboard compliant and provides tutors with features to create e-classrooms, setting relevant challenges and work for their students and review their progress. The imsomi vision is to make quality learning available to all, regardless of location or economic means. The imsomi credit system allows anyone to be involved in the community by being an active member, earning credits by adding value to the community through contributing content, and spending credits by using content. Consistent valuable users can also become moderators of the content on imsomi and earn even more credits. This provides a balance of paid access and access earned from sharing content and understanding, but everyone gets value back from each other. imsomi also offers Universities and other learning institutions attractive packages for them to subscribe on behalf of all of their students.
